“The Walking Dead” will be permitted to use the “f” word in Season 8. In the spin-off, “Fear the Walking Dead,” Nick uttered “f**k” in the most recent episode. It seems the rules have changed recently. “You get a specific number of curse words you can say, and then there’s a list of what you can and can’t do,” “Fear the Walking Dead” showrunner Dave Erickson said. “I think it was our script coordinator who told me there was an email had come up. There had been a memo saying we could now say ‘f**k’ twice over the course of an entire season. I don’t know at what point AMC corporate decided to allow it, but they did.” “The Walking Dead” launches its eighth season on October 22nd on AMC. (Independent)
I should probably start by confessing that I've never watched a full episode of The Walking Dead. A couple years ago I tried watching the pilot, but 15 minutes in I was like, I'm bored, I don't get it, I should check my Facebook (**checks Facebook**) I forgot how much I hate Facebook,
I should go get a coffee at Starbucks. So, there is really no point in watching a show about a hypothetical zombie apocalypse when I am already a zombie to social media and Starbucks. But I must say there is nothing more American than saying the word "fuck" during the zombie apocalypse. So... AMERICA, FUCK YEAH!
