Hallmark Channel Is Already Starting Around-The-Clock Christmas Programming & I'm Still Waiting For My Lesbian Christmas Movie
The Hallmark Channel’s around-the-clock Christmas programming begins next week. Despite the fact that Halloween hasn’t even happened yet, Hallmark will air the first of its 34 new Christmas movies beginning on October 28th with “Marry Me at Christmas”. Other feel-good titles coming this season include “The Sweetest Christmas,” “A Joyous Christmas,” “Christmas in Evergreen,” “Christmas at Holly Lodge,” and “A Bramble House Christmas,” among others. The Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas Preview Show” airs October 22nd – 64 days before December 25th. (Read More: News 9)
Hallmark Channel is releasing 33 new Christmas movies this year and not one of them is going to be about lesbians. This makes me angry. Lesbians celebrate Christmas too, you know. For the past five years I've been asking for Hallmark to make a lesbian Christmas movie, but instead they pump out another dozen movies starring DJ Tanner and Canada's version of a young Brad Pitt. Something needs to be done. Someone needs to start a gofundme page or a change.org petition because I need a lesbian Hallmark movie in my life.
