A trio of alleged armed robbers trying to evade cops ran straight into an Illinois police station. Chicagoans Eddie Hill, 24, Cordell Price, 21, and Aries Rickenbacker, 22, were hit with armed robbery charges for the Friday incident at a Verizon store. After threatening employees with a gun and binding their hands with zip ties, the men fled with at least 20 cell phones. The workers managed to free themselves and called 911. Officers nearby saw a vehicle speeding as it ran a red light, prompting them to give chase. The suspects eventually crashed and wound up fleeing right into the Highland Park Police Department. The deputy chief noted that the men seem to have inadvertently entered the station. “I don’t think they knew it was a police facility,” he said. “They were hiding behind a vending machine in our lobby.”
Don't these guys know that the vending machine is always the first place people look?
