It turns out students who do best in school are also most likely to cheat. University of Guelph researchers scanned more than 3,600 exams to determine how frequently students cheated on them. Overall, they found 78 cases of cheating, nearly half of which came from “repeat offenders,” or students who had cheated on more than one test over the course of the study period. Two-thirds of the cheating instances took place in one highly competitive course. Researchers wrote, “Our results point to high-achieving students as a specific group who may be more likely to commit these acts and show no indication that men are more frequent offenders than women.” (DailyMail)
The findings in this study are probably the strongest evidence to suggest that Trump didn’t cheat his way into the presidency.
